Most of the surveys and polls ahead of the elections have predicted that regional parties of the country will be having a crucial role in the formation of the central Government. With 106 MP seats NDTV polls have predicted regional party dominance in Delhi politics.
As per the poll, in the elections in Andhra Pradesh out of 25 MP seats, the YSR Congress Party is expected to score 20 seats thereby becoming the third largest regional party. It has been predicted that in West Bengal Trinamool party will win 30 seats, and in Tamil Nadu DMK might win 25 seats.
Biju Janata Dal of Odisha might secure 16 seats and TRS with 15 seats in Telangana as per the polls. Hence regional parties are going to play major part in Central Government formation besides YSRCP leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy going to be a major force in national politics.
