Reportedly actor and TDP Assembly candidate from Hindupur, Nandamuri Balakrishna, cast his vote along with his wife Vasundhara. Meanwhile YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday alleged that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu met Andhra Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer Gopalkrishna Dwivedi on Wednesday night at the Secretariat at Velagapudi, further alleging that the TDP leader had threatened the CEO.
Furthermore at the meeting, Naidu lodged a protest, alleging that the poll panel was biased towards YSRCP. Apparently Chandrababu also accused the Election Commission of playing into the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Further CEO Gopala Krishna Dwivedi said till 1 Pm 41% voting on an average was recorded and despite hot sun people are casting their votes to bring change in Andhra Pradesh.
Moreover the polling staff has reportedly deleted at least 125 votes that were polled on the Electronic Voting Machine after they have learnt that they did not clear the votes caste during the mock poll drive in Machilipatnam assembly segment. Accordingly on being learnt about the deletion of their votes, a few voters managed to turn up to the polling booth to poll again.
