With the General Elections conducted yesterday in Andhra Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana based voters who are in various parts of the state are heading towards their native locations to cast their vote and exercise their rights.
It has been reported that the voters who are based out of Greater Hyderabad as well as parts of Telangana are moving to Andhra Pradesh for casting their votes in the elections and this has resulted in heavy traffic jam across the toll gates as well. It has been said that especially in the Panthangi Toll Plaza located in Vijayawada National highway there was a huge traffic leading to vehicles queued up for more than a kilometer.
This election rush has been made use by private travels who have increased their ticket rates and people are forced to use own vehicles and this has caused huge traffic, being caught in toll gates after paying taxes. There are huge crowds in Railway stations and trains as well, due to elections.
