Janasena President Pawan Kalyan, who had contested from Gajuwaka in the Visakhapatnam district is creating a strong interest about the constituency result. At the beginning, it was expected that Palla Srinivasa Rao from TDP will be strong competition for Pawan Kalyan in Gajuwaka, the largest constituency in the state with 3,09,326 votes.

But then, YSR Congress' Thippala Nagi Reddy emerged as the strong contender now. It is reported that he lost his loyalty to him twice in a row. There is sympathy on Nagi Reddy for losing twice from the constituency and also YSR Congress spent huge money in the last five days which tilted the election in the party's favour.

Many Pawan fans came to the polling booths during the polling on Thursday but Some of them went back due to EVMS malfunctioning. Even though they came back, they could not wait so long in the queues to vote. Many could not stand in the hot sun for so long and left without voting. Janasena Supporters say that they got a huge number of votes from Gangavaram, Aganampudi, Kurmanannapalam, Duvvada, Mundhi, Vadlapudi and other areas which well help Pawan Kalyan to win.
