Telengana  Political Leaders represented to Digvijay Singh, Sonia Gandhi’s lapdog poodle, to grant Bhadrachaam Division which is presently in Khammam district, to Telengana out of COMPASSION AND AS CHARITY

Their argument is that  that area was under the control of Nizam and Ramadas was his Tehsildar, and ever since release from jail thanks to Sri Rama’s intervention, Nizam and the successor governments have been sending pearls to Bhadrachalam at the time of  Sri Rama Kalyanam every year. The leaders had no shame in making this demand – after all they are politicians and hence are not aware of the existence of the word SHAME.

If sending gifts establishes a right to usurp a temple, then it is reported that Goda Devi Temple in Sri Villiputtur, Tamil Nadu, gifts valuable clothes etc to Sree Venateswara Swamy, Tirumala, every year.  Does it mean that Tamil Nadu can lay claim to Tirumala on this score?

For the information of Telengana leaders who are begging for Bhadrachalam, it has to be mentioned that the Nizam, in the year 1786 gave away on Permananent Lease all coastal districts (which include Bhadrachalam Division) except Guntur, to the British. He gave away Guntur to the British in 1788.  And in 1800 ceded to the British all the districts which now constitute Rayalaseema – those districts are still known as CEDED districts.  This could be seen when in the Cinema pictures, list of their distributors is shown  The territories are listed as Ceded, Nizam, Andhra.

In the year 1828, the Nizam SOLD AWAY all his rights in the Northern Circars to the British for Rs 116.8 lakhs .  WHEN NIZAM HIMSELF SOLD AWAY HIS RIGHTS IN BHADRACHALLAM NEARLY 200 YEARS BACK,  IS IT NOT RIDICULOUS FOR TELENGANA LEADERS TO CLAIM THAT BECAUSE FROM THIS AREA A GIFT IS SENT EVERY YEAR TO THAT TEMPLE, AND HENCE THE WHOLE REVENUE DIVISION SHOULD BE ANNEXED TO TELENGANA?

Why just Bhadrachalam?  They can ask for the whole of Rayalaseema and Andhra to be annexed to Telengana, because all that area belonged to Nizam in the past, and nobody would object to that.  Why not they press for this?
