Uttar Pradesh Government and BJP leaders of the State are tormenting the farmers from Nizamabad who are in Varanasi to file nomination against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections. They are being not allowed to move in the city and are being troubled with questions wherever they go.
A local nominee is required needed to file nomination and the local leaders are trying to stop them by not allowing nominees to support them. 178 distressed farmers fought an election against Chief Minister KCR's daughter, Kavitha in Nizamabad Lok Sabha Segment. KCR at least has the courage to allow the farmers to contest but it looks like PM Modi is not so courageous.
Polling in Varanasi is scheduled in the last phase on May 19. 29th April is the last day for nominations. Modi won from Varanasi with a thumping majority of 3,71,784 Votes against his nearest Rival, Arvind Kejriwal. This time BJP is targeting Five Lakhs Majority. They do not want international bad press for Modi with the farmers contesting against him.
