While everyone is sure that Andhra Pradesh Elections are going to be only between TDP and YSR Congress, all are eagerly waiting to see the prospects of Janasena in this election. While many are waiting to see if the party can get double digit seats, it is noteworthy that the party's Chintalapudi candidate, Venkataramaiah says the party will win 70 seats for sure.
Pawan Kalyan himself is not sure of the party prospects and has disappeared to Hyderabad after the Polling. There are rumors that Pawan Kalyan himself is on a sticky wicket in his own seats - Bhimavaram and Gajuwaka. Things will get awkward if Pawan Kalyan does not win both these seats comfortably.
Even though Janasena will take away the votes of both the parties, the damage is more to TDP because Pawan Kalyan campaigned for TDP in the last elections. Even a one percent swing in votes will mar the prospects of TDP. In case, the votes of TDP are lost in double digits, TDP will be in for a big drubbing worse than its performance in 2004 elections.
