It is a most common practice among school as well as college students to celebrate their birthdays or friends birthdays in a fun manner, in hostels and bachelor rooms, and during these celebrations it is a customary habit for friends to gather and attack the birthday boy in the name of birthday bumps. Most often these birthday bumps are seen as a common form of fun and though the person getting beatings feels pain, they take it lightly and easily despite the physical troubles as they're done by friends.
However an incident that happened during a birthday celebration has turned fatal as it had killed the birthday boy himself. An IIM student hailing from Bengaluru had a tragic death as he was beaten brutally by his friends during his birthday night, and even his birthday celebrations video has now turned viral after cricketer Sehwag shared it on social media advising people not to do such birthday celebrations with bumps.
Initially the boy looked like he was fine after bumps but he had stomach pain later and was admitted to hospital where it was found that the beatings he received had damaged his Pancreas badly and the student died a painful death after a month. After Sehwag, lot of celebrities and people on social media shared the video advised students and youth not to do such bumps in birthday celebrations.
