Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu reviewed Polavaram Project defying the Model Code of Conduct. Now, Naidu is planning the Cabinet meeting on 10th of this month. The Cabinet Meeting will discuss and decide about the compensation for the loss due to Cyclone Fani.
Usually, Cabinet Meetings are not conducted when Election Code is in progress but recently Prime Minister Narendra Modi also conducted a Cabinet Meeting when Code is in force and so Naidu is also keen to do that. It has to be seen what Chief Secretary LV Subrahmanyam will do now.
It is the Chief Secretary who prepares the Agenda of a Cabinet Meeting. But the differences between the Chief Minister and Chief Secretary are known to all. LV Subrahmanyam is seen as Jagan's Covert by Chandrababu and the former did not even meet the Chief Minister after taking charge.
