According to sources it was stated that Re-polling in Andhra Pradesh was today held at five polling booths across Guntur, Prakasam and Nellore districts after the polling day in Andhra Pradesh (April 11th) witnessed violence, malfunctioning of EVMs and clashes. Meanwhile at Nellore district, booth no. 41 of Kovvuru Assembly and Nellore Parliamentary Constituencies witnessing a turnout of 70.2% while the pooling booth 197 at Sullupeta assembly and Tirupati Parliamentary assembly constituencies witnessed 83.15% turnout, according to Election Commission data.

Furthermore at polling station number 94 for Narsaraopet Assembly segment and parliamentary constituencies in Guntur district, the turnout stood at 87.34%. Reportedly polling booth number 244 for Guntur West Assembly and Guntur parliamentary constituencies recorded a 69.56 % turnout. 



As per report polling took place at polling booth number 247 for Yerragondlapalem Assembly and Ongole Parliamentary constituencies in Prakasam district, where 75.61 % turnout was witnessed. Despite heavy heat wave people exercised their franchise their vote to choose a good leader for their state.
