Prime Minister Narendra modi took sworn-in along with his ministers, for the second consecutive term at the Rashtrapati Bhawan following BJP's massive victory in the recently-concluded Lok Sabha elections. President Ram Nath Kovind administered the oath for PM modi and his council of ministers and the event took place at Rashtrapati Bhavan in the presence of world leaders, celebrities and politicians.

Before taking part in the ceremony, PM modi made visits to the memorials of Mahatma Gandhi and atal bihari vajpayee and paid tribute to the leaders, and more than 8000 guests attended PM modi's swearing-in ceremony including top leaders from neighboring countries, chief ministers of states and Bollywood stars.

 


Among the opposition leaders, delhi Chief Minister arvind kejriwal, Congress chief rahul Gandhi and UPA chairperson sonia gandhi are the important attendees. In total, 60 Ministers are got posts with the majority being young members and senior leader arun jaitley is not a part of the cabinet due to his health while amit shah enters the Cabinet.
