A day after taking oath as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS jagan Mohan Reddy is trying to undo the wasteful expenditure taken up by the previous government. Accordingly, the state government may very soon stop the works of Permanent Assembly, High Court, and Secretariat in Amaravati for some days.

Since the government is convenient for now in the Temporary Buildings, there will be no problem if the construction is stopped, the Chief Minister feels. The works can be resumed when the state finances recover. jagan Mohan Reddy will review all the works going on in CRDA and will take a call on which works to continue.

On the other side, the government will very soon order an inquiry into Amaravati. In various interviews, jagan specifically mentioned that Amaravati is a huge scam and has to be investigated. He alleged that Chandrababu Naidu and his Binamis resorted to Insider Trading breaking the oath of secrecy.
