According to sources the new chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS jagan, will start functioning from his chambers in the state secretariat from June 8th at 8.39 am. Meanwhile he will also review the functioning of various departments starting from Saturday. Furthermore the first departments to be reviewed by the chief minister on Saturday are finance and revenue and YS jagan will then take up education and water resources for review on June 3rd.

Reportedly on Tuesday, the chief minister's review will cover agriculture and housing, while CRDA will come up for review on June 6th. Further it may be recalled that YS jagan had declared that his government would work at a fast pace to ensure that the fruits of development and benefits of welfare schemes percolate to the common man.



Moreover the YSRCP president, YS jagan Mohan Reddy was sworn in as the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh on Thursday at the indira gandhi Municipal Stadium in front of a huge gathering which included Telangana chief minister, K. Chandrashekhar Rao and DMK chief MK Stalin. Apparently the oath of office and secrecy was administered by AP Governor, ESL Narsimhan at 12.23 pm. jagan also affixed his signature on the first file as chief minister enhancing pensions for the elderly from Rs. 1000 per month to Rs. 2,250. Hence this would be increased incrementally each year to Rs. 2,500, Rs. 2,750 and Rs.3,000.
