After the electoral defeat of TDP in Andhra Pradesh, it looks like there is no respite for the leaders in the party. A Bangalore-based CBI team conducted a raid on the residence of senior TDP leader Sujana Chowdary in hyderabad. This is regarding a case in which Sujana Chowdary is accused of being a wilful defaulter over some bank loans.
The CBI sleuths have seized important documents and hard discs in today’s raids. TDP is accusing that these raids are being conducted with the sole purpose of BJP weakening TDP further after its humiliating defeat in the AP Assembly election. Sujana Chowdary was the Union Minister in the Previous Cabinet of Narendra modi.
On the other side, some media house are reporting that several TDP leaders are looking to join the BJP in the coming months to save their skins from various corruption cases. This if true will bring a question of life and death to TDP earlier than expected. It has to be seen how Chandrababu Naidu handles this issue.
