TDP Senior Leader and former Anantapur MP JC Diwakar Reddy announced retiring from politics. He feels politics changed over the last 40 years and it is difficult for him to adjust in present-day politics. JC did not contest in the recent election but two of his family members did only to lose.

It is tough for the Senior Leader to sustain in Politics given that he was a bitter critic of the Chief Minister when the latter is in the Opposition. JC's Retirement decision will also mean that the youngsters in his family can make their own decisions.
They may join YSR Congress or BJP to secure insurance from CBI and IT Raids. In the recent elections, YSR Congress cruised to a victory with a sensational 151 seats. TDP is confined to just 23 seats while the new party, Janasena floated by pawan kalyan could only manage to win a single seat.
