Why did the PM and the Congress high command paced up the Telangana note presentation to UPA cabinet last Thursday last?. Sources in Congress said that the Congress had advance information on announcement of assembly elections in 5 states and also the closing in of the Sonia Gandhi birth day celebrations .
We all know that the Union home minister Chidambaram had made the historic announcement on Telangana at the strike of midnight of December 9 of 2009 to mark the ocassion for Sonia Gandhis 63rd birth day and also to end KCR's indefinite frast. But the same had boomranged and had to be withdrawn on December 23, 2009 .Now the Congress high command has taken utmost care to ensure that the grand formation of Telangana occured without any faux paus on December 9, 2013 .
That is why the process has been hastened last Thursday to meet the time line and deadline of 125 days of Telangana process which involved- group of minsiters report, Home Ministers final draft to Cabinet, resolutions in Assembly and Telangana bill in Parliament( winter session) and finally the announcement .So Telangana is not just a creation for sake of annointment of Rahul Gandhi as PM but also that it will be a unique birth day gift of UPA to Sonia Gandhi who will turn 67 on that day.
