Narendra modi, who will be visiting Andhra Pradesh for the first time after being sworn-in as the Prime Minister for the second time, will visit the temple town Tirupati later today. He will be received by Governor ESL Narasimhan and Chief Minister YS jagan Mohan Reddy at Renigunta Airport.


modi will address 5,000 party workers for about half an hour for 'Vijayotsava Sabha' at a venue near the airport. After the meeting, modi's will be visiting the temple of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala to offer obeisance after the massive victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections.


jagan Mohan Reddy will accompany the Prime Minister to the Temple and will have Darshan along with him. jagan will also apprise the Prime Minister of various demands of the State which lost due to Bifurcation. modi had last visited Tirumala in his capacity as the prime ministerial candidate in May 2014 and as prime minister in October 2015 and January 2017.
