As four Rajya Sabha MPs are merging themselves into BJP in the National Capital, Fourteen Kapu Leaders have sat for a secret meeting in a hotel in Kakinada. Rumours are that they held talks about whether to join BJP or YSR Congress. Former MLA Thota Trimurthulu has organized the meeting.
Buragadda Vedavyas, Bonda Uma, Baddeti Bujji, Kadiri Baburao, Chengalrayudu, Jyothula Nehru, Parupula Raja, Meesala Geetha, KA Naidu, Panchakarla Ramesh Babu, and Eeli nani have attended the meeting. The leaders who talked to the media after the meeting went on to say that they are not leaving the party.
But giving the situations, this can not be a routine meeting. While TDP is in the center of this storm, Chandrababu Naidu is in some foreign country along with his family on a holiday. BJP leaders say that the party will be finished by the time Chandrababu Naidu is back in the country.
