Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS jagan Mohan Reddy earlier this month appointed his maternal uncle and senior YSR Congress Party leader YV Subba Reddy as the new chairman of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Trust board. YV Subba Reddy also took the oath and assumed the office.

kcr's Closeaide, Myhome Rameshwar Rao’s name for the TTD member post was recommended to jagan by Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. And jagan could not say no to their recommendation, sources said. TTD board has a quota for Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra since its inception.

There were already reports that jagan has finalized dil raju as another TTD member, following the recommendation from kcr’s son and Telangana Rashtra Samithi working president K T Rama Rao. If that is true, for the first time, Telangana will have two members on the board.  The official announcement will come in the next month.
