The Congress and YSR Congress MPs from Seemandhra region plan to submit fresh resignations in protest against the proposed bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh as just 10 MP resignations will topple the UPA-2 and stall the bifurcation process.
Congress MPs are mulling a meeting in Delhi by this month end to decide on resigning for a second time, says Rayapati Sambasiva Rao, the Guntur Congress MP. "If the resignations of 10 Congress MPs are accepted, it would provoke more such resignations,leading to a collapse of the government at the Centre, he says.
Three YSR Congress MPs YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Mekapati Rajmohan Reddy and SPY Reddy also want to submit their resignations to the Speaker for second time.
