There are plans in full steam for Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal to launch his own political career and also an own party. This is reportedly the reason why even Congress high command has given hints to Purandareshwari that she can start nurturing Vijayawada as her constituency in 2014.
Sources say that there is still some confusion whether it will be the same party as that of Kiran or whether it will be a new party by himself. It is being said that he wants to consolidate Kamma vote bank as much as possible. It is a different thing whether Lagadapati enjoys that public support like before.
There are also reports that he may knock the doors of TDP soon enough in case he needs some form of support from the party to lock horns with Congress in Seemandhra region and he is also making sure that none of his business loopholes comes out.
