Former CBI JD LakshmiNarayana was getting more popularity by handling 3 high profile cases (Emmar, OMC and Jagan cases) in the state. The way he arrested Gali Janarthan Reddy and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy made him a popular hero among the people. LakshmiNarayana became overnight hero in the state and many flexis aroused by praising this sincere and honest police officer. And LakshmiNarayana was become villian to YSRCP.
LakshmiNarayana served in CBI since last six years in different posts and leave the state on July 04th,2013. He moved to Maharastra for joining. After taking one month leave, LakshmiNarayana asked Maharastra Govt for his posting. Maharastra Govt ordered him to wait till the next orders came. As per police sourcers, LakshmiNarayana has been waiting for Govt orders since last 4 months. There are rumors that LakshmiNarayana will appointed as Mumbai Joint Commissioner. Reportedly, leader from NCP objects in giving that post.
As per buzz, Congress high Commnad ordered Maharastra not to give any post to LakshmiNarayana. He is becoming Scapegoat between 10 Janapath and Lotus Pond agreement. LakshmiNarayana is one of the issues come to the discussion between two parties. As per buzz, YSRCP believes that LakshmiNarayana trouble YS family and kept him away from the responsibilities is one way to took revenge on since LakshmiNarayana.
