Ever since the elections are completed and there is a change of Power. the atrocities of Kodela's family are coming out one after the other. There are several cases on Kodela's son and daughter alleging that they have collected what came to be known as K tax from people and police have registered a number of complaints with respect to them in such cases of extortion.
The latest is that Gautam Hero showroom in Guntur owned by his son, Kodela Sivaram was seized by the Police. It is learned that Sivaram had been running the motor vehicle business for five years without paying the requisite taxes and in violation of rules. Kodela’s alleged proxy Yerramsetty Motors in Narasaraopeta was also seized after having sold 400 vehicles over a period of 5 years.
Kodela who is the Speaker of Andhra Pradesh Assembly have encouraged the defections by being a mute spectators of TDP's blatant bending of the rules. Kodela's son and daughter were left scot-free and involved in massive corruption. The allegations are huge that even TDP could not take Kodela's son after the government is registering cases.
