Despite the JD Lakshminarayana confirming that he will not leave Janasena, rumours are still thick about the Former CBI Joint Director JD Lakshminarayana quiting Janasena Party and joining the BJP. Rumors are rife in the Political Circles are that the BJP high command is planning to send him to the Rajya Sabha.
He may be taken into Narendra modi's Cabinet as well in the next expansion. Currently, Andhra Pradesh is the only prominent state without representation in the Union Cabinet. Elevating JD's level with a cabinet berth will showcase him as a big leader and he is likely to be the face of BJP in Andhra Pradesh in the coming elections.

It is not known what transpired between pawan kalyan and Lakshminarayana but the Janasena President left him out of the recently formed Polit Bureau and Political Affairs Committees. Lakshminarayana even stopped attending Janasena Party Meetings.
Lakshminarayana had got more votes than pawan kalyan in Gajuwaka even though he lost as Vishakapatnam MP. JD contesting the election helped YSR Congress win the seat as he divided the TDP votes. It has to be seen if he will be able to change the fortunes of BJP in the State.
