There are a lot of speculations about what Chief Minister YS jagan Mohan Reddy is going to do about Amaravati. There are rumors that he may change the capital to Donakonda and there is even a talk about the state going to have four capitals. But one thing is very sure that jagan does not want to centralize the development.
Despite of what is going to happen with the capital, one thing is sure that jagan will be shifting the High Court to Rayalaseema. This has been a long-standing demand by the people of the region but is ignored by the previous Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu. Rayalaseema people have given a historic verdict to YSR Congress in the recent elections.
Rayalaseema people rallied with jagan in the recent elections. The party won all of the seats in the area except for three seats. Payyavula Keshav is the only TDP leader who won on Cycle Symbol along with high-profile candidates like Chandrababu Naidu and Nandamuri balakrishna. Besides this, jagan is also planning various other projects as well for the Region, government sources say.
