TDP leaders used unparliamentary language against YSRCP MLA Vundavalli Sridevi during the ganesh chaturthi celebrations at Anantavaram village in Thullur District. As per reports, TDP leaders are said to have made some offensive comments against YSRCP Dalit MLA Sridevi during the Ganesh Chavithi pooja ceremony. Sridevi, who was hurt by the offensive comments made by TDP Leaders broke down.
TDP Leaders and activists stopped Vundavalli Sridevi from taking part in pooja rituals by saying that god will lose his glory if she took part in the pooja as she was a Dalit woman. This Issue went viral and Police have filed SC, ST atrocities case on four TDP persons. This is a fine example of how TDP leaders don't respect the people of oppressed classes.
Sridevi also vowed to fight for justice and said she was even ready to stage a protest against TDP leaders. "TDP leaders still feel that they are in power, and fearlessly use abusive language to insult a woman in the name of caste. If this is the case even when they are in opposition, one can imagine how they behaved when they are in Power," people say.
