Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy is all set to travel for New Delhi tomorrow after a lengthy gap as per the instructions of the Congress high command. Many are deeming this to be the decider for Kiran and his post as the CM. After what he has been doing lately, this was much expected.
This will reportedly be his first visit after he started high voltage revolting against the high command over the decision to bifurcate AP. There are speculations whether the Chief Minister would be meeting party Chief Sonia Gandhi or will the other party heads deal with him.
There are also speculations that in case he meets what will be the outcome. Will he fall in line or will he be shown the door and there are reports doing the rounds that Sonia may issue only last and strong warning to the CM and if he doesn’t fall in line she may ask him to step down.
Sources say that the continuation of Kiran as the Chief Minister will be discussed thoroughly even as the central leaders are reportedly involved in last minute efforts to make Kiran fall in line. But it is also important that Kiran sticks around till 2014 elections because there is none better than him at this moment.
