Did Telangana Chief Minister kcr express his unhappiness with the appointment of Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan? Did he insult the new Governor? Even though kcr did not do so directly, it is the same if we consider the views of Jwala Narasimha Rao, Chief Public Relations Officer to chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Writing a column in an English Daily the other day, Narasimha Rao called the latest round of appointment of Governors, including Soudararajan in Telangana, “a process of political rehabilitation for the party in power at the Centre”. Quoting from the Sarkaria Commission report of 1987, Rao says none of his recommendations were followed in the appointment to the raj Bhavan in hyderabad

It seems the Chief minister’s office is rattled by Dr. Soundararajan’s appointment as they suspect a political conspiracy of the BJP in this appointment. But then, the article will mean that the TRS Government is trying to cast aspersions over the new Governor which is nothing but an insult to the highest position in the State. The question if how kcr expected the center to play his tunes when BJP is trying to become a significant force in Telangana.
