From Monday, government employees in hyderabad do not need to go to the Secretariat for work as the State Secretariat has been officially shut down with effect from Saturday evening. The Chief Minister, kcr has already conducted the ground-breaking ceremony of the new Secretariat in June. All ministers and IAS officers have been accommodated in different offices spread across the city.
So while Home minister Mahmood ali will work out of the DGP’s office, Finance minister harish rao will work out of Aranya Bhavan. Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao is operating out of the Municipal Complex while Transport minister ajay Kumar’s new workstation will be the Regional Transport Office.
The main gate of the existing Secretariat is locked earlier today. The officials have already locked the gates of the AP Secretariat. The keys would be placed at the disposal of senior officials. If any department requires the keys for shifting the furniture or other items from the existing Secretariat, they should get permission and obtain the keys from the senior officials. The demolition drive will begin very soon.
