YS jagan Mohan Reddy Government seems to be keen on not letting former TDP MLA Chintamaneni prabhakar scot-free. Chintamaneni is already in jail for beating a Dalit and the Police have already arrested him for the fifth time. The Monday’s arrest pertained to an alleged kidnap and assault on one Modikonda Muralikrishna at Pedavegi in 2018. He was produced before the court which remanded him to judicial custody for 14 days.
Till now, out of five cases, Chintamaneni got bail in two cases and three are still pending. The police are arresting him within hours of the former MLA coming out on bail on a different case. Chintamaneni has been facing as many as 58 cases till now, apart from fresh cases being filed by the police. so, there are no chances of the former MLA getting released any sooner. the Police will seek remand in every case so that he can be put behind the bars for as much time as possible.
Even if he gets bail in one case, he will be still in jail for another case. Chintamaneni lost in the recent election to YSR Congress' Abbayi Chowdary with a whopping margin of around 13000 votes in Denduluru constituency. TDP losing Power made things worse for him.
