Just a day before the launch of the YSR Congress Government's Flagship Scheme, YSR Rythu Bharosa, Chief Minister YS jagan Mohan Reddy has enhanced the amount by Thousand Rupees i.e., from Rs 12,500 to Rs 13,500. The amount will be paid the amount in three installments. This includes 6000 which will be deposited by the Central Government.

The first installment will be directly credited into the bank accounts of the farmers from tomorrow. The government has also decided to extend the scheme from four years to five years. On Sunday, the government issued a GO releasing Rs 5,510 crore as part of the budgetary allocation for the scheme by the government. The Chief Minister will launch the scheme on Tuesday, October 15 at Kaktur in Nellore district.

Meanwhile, Opposition Telugu Desam Party is criticizing the Government for going back on the promising of giving the total amount and now making it including the amount given under Pradhana Mantri Kisaan Samaan Yojana. They also allege that the government has put several riders to decrease the number of beneficiaries as much as possible.
