Sanath Nagar MLA, Marri Sashidhar Reddy enters into the political scene two ago but he was successful to draw the attention on Congress High Command. Marri was conducted two days meeting with all Telangana Congress MLAs and discussed the need of increase of Assembly segments from existing 119 to 153 in newly formed Telangana state. Marri Shashidar Reddy was met GoM and submitted his proposal.
Marri proposal is widely accepted by all in Telangana. Marri believes, “Unless we increased Assembly segments in Telangana, this will turns as another Jharkhand”. Increase in Assembly segments is to get political stability in Telangana. Where to increase these segments? Number of segments increased where ever density of the population is more. In Telangana, population has increased in Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts. The number will increase in these two areas.
There is rumor that Congress High Command is behind Marri proposal. As per the guidance of Sonia, Marri raise this proposal. Congress believes that the more number of segments in Telangana to get more political advantage. TRS hasn’t enough strength in Hyderabad and RR districts and Telangana sentiment also not high in the districts. This pushed TRS situation badly in Telangana. Sonia orders Congress leaders to attack TRS. KCR and KTR aggressive statements quoted in Task Force and Antony Committee in their reports. Congress spoils TRS dreams to form the government in newly Telangana state.
