The crucial no-confidence motion is expected to be taken by Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar tomorrow and in case the house proceeds smoothly, then it will come up for discussion. But a lot would depend on the stand taken by BJP.
Any support from BJP will be a shot in arm for the no-confidence being moved by Six Seemandhra Congress MP’s, four TDP and three YSRCP MP’s. Sources say that this group has won the support of the magic figure of 54 MP’s by convincing non UPA regional parties but are eagerly waiting for BJP’s support!
BJP is creating suspense till the last moment as the party doesn’t want to reveal everything beforehand. But sources say BJP may lend its crucial support at the nth hour. The main reason being BJP doesn’t want to face allegations of match fixing with Congress leadership.
And in case UPA collapses, then BJP can go for elections quickly before Arvind Jeriwal’s AAP starts ground work aiming at Lok Sabha polls in several places across North India. If UPA collapses, then T bill will not be approved and AP will stand united!
