Hardly two months there to pass the much hyped Telangana bill in the Parliament. Congress High Command has run out of the time to fulfill its given promise before 2014 general elections. Congress High Command is desperately thinking how to come out this tangle. If it fails to bring the bill in both houses in time, party will face severe loss in both regions. Even though there is last two steps to form but it’s difficult to overcome these two. There is no guarantee on the discussion of the bill in the Assembly. SA TDP and Congress MLAs agreed for the discussion only after proposing voting for clauses in the given bill. SA MLAs want to reject and resend the bill after highlighting many loopholes during discussion in the Assembly. As per legal experts, President will send to Home Ministry for review on the bill. All these procedures will cause delay on Telangana before 2014 elections. As per the political buzz, even President also expressed his opinion on short period of time to pass the bill. Politically, TRS merge issue also worried Congress Govt. Reportedly, Telangana bill can’t pass in LS in the present form without having the support of 350 MPs. There is another proposal that Congress seeks to forward the bill in Rajya Sabha and skipped in Lok Sabha. By this, Congress High Command is wants to keep the Telangana issue in live and will go to elections in 2014. Congress wants to throw the ball in BJP court and forward this issue to next govt.
