There is some buzz doing the rounds that it will not be AP CM Kiran but one of the Congress MPs Lagadapati Rajagopal, who had moved a no-confidence motion against the UPA government in Lok Sabha, who will most likely float a political party.
Sources say later Kiran will be invited to join this new outfit which will reportedly be announced on January 17 after Sankranti, according to sources. Kiran is expected to join this party only after January 23, the deadline on which the legislative assembly should be sending back the T Bill to Assembly.
The party will reportedly be named Jai Samaikhya Andhra. In addition to the Vijayawada MP, who is a business magnate, sources say that some of the AP NGO leaders who Seemandhra agitation for nearly 70 days are expected to be part of the founding team for this new party.
It is also being said the party will be fielding a large number of students and leaders in the upcoming assembly polls while a draft manifesto is also reportedly ready. TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu reportedly feels that the new party will be damaging the prospects of YSR Congress more than that of TDP!
