Can not a tea seller and common man who have risen from bottom of social and political ladder every become Prime Ministers?
BJP senior leader Venkaiah Naidu today said that people have to be cautious about leaders who sell the nation to foreigners than those who are tea sellers and have common man approach.
Venkaiah was speaking at the third day session of the BJP national executive meet in which Narender Modi, Rajnath Singh and Sushma Swaraj participated. Reacting to the malicious campaign on Narender Modi by Congress leader Manishankar Iver that a tea seller was dreaming to become a PM,the BJP leader said the comment was in bad taste and also spoke volumes about the company of black marketeers and anti nationals Manishankar kept in his party and also outside .
He said country needs leaders who keep their ears ground to earth and understand the needs of the poor and youth.'Those who built castles with public loot under various scams are now arrogant enough to insult and humiliate leaders who have risen from the bottom of political and social order '.
