BJP leader and PM candidate Narendra Modi today said that no doubt he was a tea vendor but also revealed that his mother hailed from a backward class and eked out a livelihood by washing dishes as a house maid?.
Participating in the 3 day national executive meet of the BJP Modi made an aggressive attack on the Congress and Rahul Gandhi and said that Congress president Sonia Gandhi her party was staring at certain defeat. 'Sonia Gandhi had not named Rahul Gandhi as official prime ministerial candidate for the 2014 at AICC' as no mother will ever sacrifice her son's future? and Sonia Gandhi decided to protect her son, Modi said .
Modi said Congress workers came to AICC for a PM and got three cylinders instead. He also accused the Congress of being "elitists" who won't fight a "commoner," and endorsed the Mani Shankar Aiyar comment that his family was not rich and that he sold tea on trains.
