Sunanda Pushkar, deceased wife of the Union Minister Shashi Tharoor had made a will three months before her death.For reasons best known to her Sunanda had smelled rat in her affairs with Shashi and threat to her life or uncertainities .But strangely she had left everything in her assets to her son and hsuband Shashi .
Her friend and corporate lawyer Rohit Kochhar helped her in drawing a will that was not against her husband’s interests. Kochhar said that Sunanda said at that time itself felt that her life was uncertain and hence got a Will be made. Sunanda declared her assets in 2012-13 to the tune of over Rs.112 crore where as Shashi declared his assets to the tune of Rs.6.34 crore.
Sunanda has not altered her will after she became unfriendly towards Shashi.
Sunanda who was found dead in a South Delhi 5 star hotel was not found any alcohol in her body but anti depressant drugs were found in the postmortem conducted on her.Shashi Tharoor is planning to leave soon for Hardwar to immerse his wife’s ashes in the River Ganga.
