The Congress ministers from Seemandhra region, who are opposing the Congress high command tooth and nail regarding the State bifurcation issue have announced that they will vote for official Congress nominees in Rajya Sabha elections.
The noted Seemandhra Ministers T G Venkatesh and Kasu Krishna Reddy reportedly made it clear that they will extend support for official candidates of Congress party and also dismissed reports that they back the rebel candidates.
Venkatesh also went to an extent saying he will file a criminal complaint against leaders who are misusing his name while Krishna Reddy tried to show his loyalty saying his family has been associated with the Congress party for the last three generations.
Well analysts say Sonia played a masterstroke by renominating KVP and TSR who are known for their stinking rich status that can turn all odds in their favor! By luring them with the Rajya Sabha seats, Sonia is ensuring that the protests from the Seemandhra ministers soften and Telangana can be formed peacefully.
