There are two issues that are come to the discussion for the people of Kurnool Segment voters 2 months before the general election. TG Venkatesh has not decided to join in TDP but he has strong intention to field again from Kurnool Segment. SV Mohan Reddy (brother of Shoba Nagi Reddy) is the candidate for YSRCP from Kurnool. CPI (M) MA Gafoor will be its candidate. Gafoor was elected twice from this segment.
Since last few days both TG and SV are digging each other on various personal issues. CPM did protest against TG’s factory last month. Alcoholic industry is causing damage to the environment and people health by its emissions. Now YSRCP also joined with CPI(M) on the same reason. SV Mohan Reddy took Pollution issue against TG to attract Town Votes. SV Mohan Reddy rushed to Hyderabad with huge convoy and submit his memorandum against TG factory to the HRC. SV aims to weaken TG financial strength.
To counter that, TG has also prepared his strategy against SV Mohan Reddy. TG supported Christian missionaries fighting against SV Mohan Reddy. Christian Missionaries are come to the road and raised their voice against SV and demand to return their assets that were grabbed by S Mohan Reddy. TG Venkatesh extended his support to Christians. SV is in trouble to counter these allegations. YSRCP believes that Christian minorities are its strong vote bank. Reportedly, ST/BC lands, Rockwood School ground and Christian lands related to ECM are grabbed by SV Mohan Reddy. TG alleged that SV was captured without having any power. TG warned Kurnool Voters on SV, If you vote to him, there is no limit to extend his illegal activities.
