In what is being seen as unprecedented and not expected at all, the telecast of Lok Sabha proceedings have stopped for the first time in parliament history. Amidst that, the Telangana bill was passed by the UPA government despite severe protests from all sides. Seemandhra MP's, members of JD(U), Trinamool Congress and others staged a walkout saying this is day light murder of democracy as all doors and windows of Lok Sabha have been closed. The passing of the bill took place through voice of vote. Sources say that crucial voting went on with each of the amendments and the verdict came out within few minutes. The proceedings of Lok Sabha have been suspended immediately after Sushma Swaraj said BJP supports the bill and Meira Kumar passed the bill by voice vote. But it looks like finally Congress has done what it has promised but there is tension as to what exactly is going on right now in the Indian Parliament! Well, India has to brace up for yet another state of Telangana and it is being called a black day by many Telugu people.
