The entry of a political party announced by former CM Kiran Kumar Reddy is expected to spell trouble for the Congress, place a new obstacle to the YSRCP and is seen as a boost for the Telugu Desam Party, according to analysts.
Sources say that a reluctant Kiran Reddy finally floated the party after being pushed by the six rebel Congress MPs who were expelled in the Lok Sabha. The agenda of the new party is still not creating enough conviction and confidence among the people.
They have done this as Congress doors were closed for them since they were not confident of winning with the 'hand' symbol while the TDP and YSR Congress have already reserved the seats to someone else.
Though Kiran's party can at the best win only a few seats, political pundits say this is enough to play spoilsport to YSRCP and Congress wherever he fields candidates who say that if Kiran party wouldn't have contested, these votes would have been directed towards the YSR Congress and Congress.
