Worried very much and alarmed over the large-scale exodus of legislators from the Congress, sources say that finally Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi is all set to personally intervene to prevent more leaders from Seemandhra heading making for the exit door. Sources say that Rahul will be meeting Union textiles minister and Andhra strong man Kavuri Sambasiva Rao on within next two days in New Delhi and persuade him to drop his plans of entering Telugu Desam Party. Rao, who represents Eluru Lok Sabha constituency currently is reportedly under pressure from his followers to formally make entry into TDP. Two days ago, Rahul even telephoned Patancheru MLA Nandeswar Goud asking him to stay in the party. Since Kavuri is the senior-most MP from AP, Rahul Gandhi is reportedly planning to meet him directly and he is also reportedly under pressure from his colleagues such as Jairam Ramesh, JD Seelam and AICC SC cell chairman Koppula Raju to stay in the party.
