The political scenario is getting heated up so much that there is tension all over whether it would be the YSRCP boss Jagan or the TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu in Seemandhra. A crucial segment being looked at is the Guntur East. Sources say that a Delhi based independent research company has conducted a poll survey as on 2nd May 2014 for Guntur East, which is a critical Muslim dominated constituency where for the first time ever TDP has gone ahead with a Hindu candidate. But this gamble seems to have worked out with the poll predicting that TDP’s man Giri Maddali will be securing 52% votes, while YSRC candidate Mustafa may secure 37% votes while Congress aspirant Mastan Vali is at a distant 9 % and others will get 2 % vote share. Well this may also raise a point that when viewed as big picture, then Congress will split Jagan’s minority votes that matter the most in a neck to neck fight and Babu’s game plan not to field a Muslim here may indeed work out for TDP! The talk that Giri enjoys a strong goodwill among the locals is also adding to this scenario.
