Late reports from various Assembly Segments in SA have changed the % polling in the region. State Election Commissioner Bhanwarlal said that around 80% of polling done in SA on May 07th General Elections. That % will be increased by another 2% as per latest reports from the Election Commission. On overall there is 82% polling reported in SA. 5% of polling increased in the state when compared to 2009 General elections (77%).
In 2014, 3 to 4 percentage increased in Telangana where 4 to 6 percentage increased in SA when compared to 2009 General elections. EC did lot of exercise to increase the poll % in the state since last one year and was successful partially in its effort. Except in Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy % of polling has increased in all districts. EC has surprised on increasing of poll % every time in Prattipadu Assembly Segment in Guntur district. 90% of polling has been recorded in this segment.
100% polling has been recorded in four Polling stations in Giddalur Assembly Segment (Prakasam DT). All voters have cast their votes in L.Kota village in Khambham Mandal polling station and in Turimella Govt school polling station. All 810 voters have cast their votes in Basinepalli Elementary School in Bestavari Mandal. In one PS in Sanjeevarayunipet, Giddalur Mandal all 1040 voters have cast their franchise completely.
