Former Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Raja Gopal had released his most awaited survey details. As he is saying these days, TDP-BJP Combine is all set to form the government in the state with a comfortable 115-125 and they are going to get 19-22 MP seats. Their nearest rival, YSR Congress is all set to manage 45-55 Assembly seats and 3-6 MP seats and finish as a distant second. The survey has kicked up a storm in socio-political circles for a while now. Especially pro-Jagan camp is deeply worried over Lagadapati's prediction that TDP-BJP combine would come to power.Speaking about Lagadapati survey YSRCP official spokesperson Gattu Ramachandra Rao lashed out on him at a press conference held here on Wednesday. He described Lagadapati survey as baseless and useless. Gattu alleged that Lagadapati quits politics to start betting business. If Rajagopal had really believed that YSRCP would lose the polls, he would have been in the electoral fray and contested the polls, Gattu added. “The results show that people rejected the Congress for dividing the state. They would also reject the TDP which aligned with the BJP that aided the bifurcation,” Gattu stated. Stating that YSRCP never depended on surveys but always relied on people, Gattu reasoned that municipal, MPTC and ZPTC polls were fought on local issues and there would be a world of difference between local polls and assembly elections. Though YCP expressing confidence over the win, many of the leaders worrying about party performance as it was strictly confined to four districts in the region.Political analysts too predict the same and say mostly Lagadapati's survey coincides with public pulse as in the past as well Rajagopal's surveys turned out true. ..RB
