There are reports in the media that Satya Nadella, the current CEO of Bill Gates’ founded company Microsoft may be visiting India by the end of this year. Sources say that IT czar Chandrababu Naidu had invited Satya who accepted his invitation to meet with him.
Nadella hails from Bukkapatnam village in Ananthapur district. Meanwhile Chandrababu Naidu is reportedly drawing ambitious plans to convert Chittoor and Ananthapur districts as Mega IT hubs.
This is possible by taking advantage of Ananthapur’s proximity to Bangalore and Chittoor’s proximity to Chennai. He is now planning to covert the vacant Lepakshi knowledge hub land in Ananthapur as mega cluster for IT.
It is a good thought because Bangalore International Airport is just 80 km away from this place and is reportedly convincing Satya to open new branch of Microsoft unit here. It was only due to Naidu’s initiative that Microsoft opened its only branch in India at Hyderabad.
