Peeved at being sidelined in TDP, LB Nagar TDP MLA R Krishnaiah is reportedly in touch with TRS to join the party. Sources say that TRS is also considering admitting Krishnaiah given his reputations as BC leader and which will help consolidate the pink party in its plan to apparently wipe out TDP in Telangana.
Krishnaiah's unhappiness is reportedly due to treatment meted out to him by TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu after polls. In the run-up to elections, Naidu had announced that if TDP comes to party in Telangana, then a BC leader will be the CM of the new state.
But after being confined to opposition, sources say Krishnaiah was upset that he was not made leader of the Telangana TDP legislature party which went to Errabelli Dayakar Rao. Some say this is too ambitious a desire from Krishnaiah because this is his first tenure as an MLA.
The trio of Revanth Reddy, Errabelli and Talasani Srinivas Yadav reportedly sidelined Krishnaiah in the Telangana unit of TDP. Now the BC leader is lamenting that he is not getting information regarding legislature party meetings and is reportedly planning to switch loyalty.
