As per the Election Commission, contestants from Andhra Pradesh from all parties have spent much expenditure in the elections and 1/3rd of seized liquor in the country was from the state. People will surprise after seeing the disclosed expenditure of our representatives. Their disclosed expenditure is far from the reality. Election Commission officially allowed to spend 28 lacs for Assembly and 70 lacs for the Parliament Segments.
But Contestants from all major political parties spend just 30% of the EC prescribed limit in Chittoor district. How one should believe that Rajampet MP Midhun Reddy spent just 11.83 lacs in the general elections? But Purandreswari who lost Rajampet had shown 22.92 lacs as election expenditure. Chittoor MP Siva Prasad spend 23.8 lacs where as his counterpart from YSRCP spent 17.99 lacs.
Srikalahasti MLA and Minister for Forest Bojjala Gopala Krishna Reddy was spend 5.14 lacs as election expenditure. He showed least election expenditure in the district among all other parties. Nagiri Roja was spending 11.8 lacs as her expenditure where Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu spends 8.78 lacs. CBN had spent 20.89 lacs as his election expenditure and YSRCP nominee spent 12.67 lacs.
