Recently IT minister of Telangana and Chief Minister KCR’s son K T Rama Rao made an interesting remark. This was about the IT companies and he mentioned that they will not be able to move out of Gachibowli, then how will they move to Andhra?
Given their attachment to Hyderabad, it made the struggle for a separate Telangana a nightmare for people from Seemandhra and now with new capital talk, it is being said that the new capital may be unaffordable for common man due to real estate boom factor.
At the same time most of IT firms in Gachibowli have their own campuses unlike some of them in Hitech city area which are on lease. Now instead of leaving for new capital, TRS wants to ensure that Seemandhra intellectuals do not leave Hyderabad by projecting that Hyderabad is still the place to be.
This is reportedly evident in the manner how property sales by Seemandhra are going on steady in Hyderabad. Well, the weakness for Hyderabad for the Andhras is also a strength for Telangana! It has to be seen how KTR is going to capitalize this situation and do good for the Telangana people.
